June 2009

The United Kingdom RagaMuffin Cat Society are thrilled to announce that, at the Executive meeting held on 6th May 2009, it was agreed that the club should be granted Pre Affiliation to the Governing Council of The Cat Fancy. This was ratified at the delegate meeting on 24th June 09 and means that in just three years time, we will be able to apply for full Affiliation. Once affiliated we will be able to hold our own show and although this is some way in the future, it is a very exciting prospect to look forward to and plan for.

March 2009

The United Kingdom RagaMuffin Cat Society are thrilled to announce that, at the Executive meeting held on 18th March 2009, it was agreed that the RagaMuffin name would be recognised by the Governing Council of The Cat Fancy. It had taken many weeks for the application to be put together, and with help from, amongst others, Mrs Anne Gregory and Mrs Frances Peace, it sailed through with no amendments being asked for by the Executive Committee.

We have also had recent confirmation that the breed number allocated for the RagaMuffin will be 60.

Registrations can now be submitted and The RagaMuffin will be able to be shown on exhibition at shows around the country with immediate effect once the registrations are in place. Certified pedigrees will need to accompany the Registration Applications. If registering any imported cats AFTER 1st June 2009, all Certified Pedigrees will be returned by the GCCF Office.
